1968 Shelby Mustang GT500Clearwater, FL- Oct. 1, 2012- The 2013 Mustang Dream Giveaway, a nationwide drawing sponsored by WorldCause Foundation, launched on October 1, 2012. The grand-prize in this annual event is two spectacular one-of-kind Shelby GT500's to be awarded to one lucky winner. One is a 1968 and the other a 2013, plus $50,000 for taxes. Donations will benefit our wounded veterans and other important causes.

The fully restored documented 1968 Shelby Mustang GT500 was a Ford company prototype, retained to test the viability of installing a sunroof option. Due to its high cost, Ford never offered the option to the public, and this is the only 1968 Shelby GT500 known to have had one installed under Ford's ownership. This desirable collector car is finished in rare candy apple red with white LeMans striping and saddle interior and comes equipped with a 428 Police Interceptor powerplant, automatic transmission, and factory roll-bar. This 1 of 1 Shelby is an irreplaceable piece of automotive history.

2013 Shelby Mustang GT500The one-of-a-kind 2013 Shelby Mustang GT500 is also finished in candy apple red with white LeMans striping and a custom saddle interior. Roadwire, Distinctive Industries, and Classic Soft Trim combined their considerable talents to design and execute the amazing interior design for this unique Shelby GT500. Designed to smoke the competition, under the Super SnakeĀ® hood lies the most powerful production V8 engine in the world: a supercharged intercooled 5.8 liter 32-valve V8 engine delivering over 650 horsepower, mated to a TREMECĀ® 6-speed manual transmission. Other features include Recaro front bucket seats, and an open air sunroof to reflect the 68's iconic heritage. Signature Automotive Products constructed the unique open air sunroof for the 2013 Shelby Mustang GT500.
