WorldCause Foundation Announces $2.9 Million Gifts in Kind Donation to the Order of Malta, Guatemala

WorldCause Foundation is pleased to announce it's newest philanthropic effort, a gifts in kind donation of medicine valued at $2.9 million dollars to the Order of Malta, Guatemala. On Sept 20th, 2011, our shipment containing medicines that help individuals suffering from Parkinson's disease, epilepsy and seizures were shipped from Long Island City, NY to Guatemala City.

Once received, the medicine was transferred to a medical clinic run by The Order of Malta where it will be distributed to thousands of indigent patients who will truly benefit from these donated supplies. This donation will prove to be extremely beneficial to the people of Guatemala who may not have the means to obtain these medicines otherwise.

Along with helping the clinic's patients, this donation also helps WorldCause Foundation fulfill its mission statement, providing humanitarian aid to those in abject need of the most basic necessities including medicine, food, water and clothing.

Pictures in this article include one of the warehouses in Guatemala City used to store the goods, a pharmacy run by the Order of Malta as well as a clinic. In the future, WorldCause Foundation hopes to add to its continued success in carrying out our mission statement by helping those in need on both a domestic and an international scale.
