WorldCause Foundation Provides Financial Contribution to Angels for Veterans "Angel PAWS" Program

WorldCause Foundation is pleased to announce a recent financial contribution made towards Angels for Veterans Angel PAWS program. Angels for Veterans, a 501 c (3) non-profit organization that provides emergency relief, support, and advocacy just recently founded Angel PAWS. This newly established program provides specialized Service Dogs or companions to veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder and physical disabilities. These highly trained dogs help disabled veterans with a wide range of tasks including picking up objects, assistance with various house duties and chores, along with providing much needed companionship to those suffering from PTSD.

The cost of one professionally trained Service or Companion Dog ranges from $5,500.00 to $10,000.00. These costs provide intensive training, boarding, food, and health care expenses. The specialized training also includes a minimum of 16 weeks of obedience programs which ultimately prepares the dogs to provide assistance for their owner's specific needs. All dogs are rescue dogs which are obtained from various local shelters within the Dayton, Ohio area and given a second chance. WorldCause Foundation is grateful to have contributed to this fulfilling program which provides our heroes with much needed assistance and companionship.
