WorldCause Foundation Proudly Accepts Induction into the Schwarzkopf Society

WorldCause Foundation is pleased to announce its recent induction into The Schwarzkopf Society. This past November, WorldCause Foundation & Dream Giveaways concluded the 2011 Continental Tire / Grand AM Porsche Dream Giveaway successfully providing Camp Boggy Creek with a $109,000 grant.

Camp Boggy Creek is a year-round medical camp for children located in Eustis, Florida and was co-founded by actor/philanthropist Paul Newman and General Norman Schwarzkopf. The camp serves as a location where children with various medical illnesses can let loose and truly enjoy themselves in a camp environment among other children their age.

Along with providing numerous fun filled activities for the children, the camp also has medical staff on hand who work at the on-site medical facility which provides treatment for the children. This on-site facility allows the children to complete their treatments and get right back to the camp activities without missing a beat.

The camp helps provide the children and their families with a much needed break from daily life defined by doctor visits and treatment plans. WorldCause Foundation has also had the opportunity to visit the camp and build long lasting relationships with the families and staff at Camp Boggy Creek.

The Schwarzkopf Society is comprised of individuals, foundations, and corporations who have dedicated themselves and their resources to ensuring that Florida's seriously ill children have the opportunity to enjoy the magic at Camp Boggy Creek, always free of charge.

WorldCause Foundation would like to thank the staff, campers and families of Camp Boggy Creek for allowing us to fulfill our mission statement and help improve the quality of life for these deserving children. Additionally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for induction into The Schwarzkopf Society. WorldCause looks forward to carrying out additional philanthropic endeavors for the camp in the near future. This is only the beginning!
